Dallas can't imagine Luka Doncic skipping Slovenia

Having finished the playoffs on the knee, with multiple physical problems, Luka Doncic logically did not want to make any promises to Slovenia regarding its participation in the Olympic Qualification Tournament.

However, it is happening quickly, since the meeting is from July 2 to 7 in Athens to challenge Greece, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Croatia and New Zealand. And only the winner will return to Paris…

However, on the Dallas side, it is hard to imagine Luka Doncic skipping the TQO with the national team.

“It’s probably one of his greatest joys” replied Nico Harrisonthe GM of the Texas franchise. “I think as long as he can walk, he’ll probably go play with them.”

We should therefore see “Luka Magic” with Slovenia in Greece, even if he is not necessarily 100%. And Giannis Antetokounmpo and his team will have to be wary, because Luka Doncic allowed his country to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021, thanks to his victory during the Kaunas TQO… by beating Lithuania in the final.

And in continuity, the Slovenes were only one block away from Nicolas Batum to challenge the United States in the final of the Olympic Games. Before finishing at the foot of the podium.
