Will the Kings have to do without Domantas Sabonis for a few weeks? For now, there is no definitive answer to this question. but ESPN reports that concern is in order in Sacramento.
The son of Arvydas thus injured his hand during the last meeting (lost) by the Kings against the Wizards.
For the moment, we do not know the exact nature of the problem and Domantas Sabonis will therefore have to undergo additional examinations at the level of his right hand, to determine the continuation of the operations.
The fear is obviously a fracture, which would put him on the sidelines for weeks, even months, while the former Pacers player is at the heart of the club’s renewal. With 17 wins for 14 losses, the Kings are thus for the moment virtually qualified in the playoffs, in 6th place in the Western Conference. It would be a first since 2006 for the Sacramento club, which is experiencing the longest period of drought in NBA history.
Since the start of the campaign, Domantas Sabonis has averaged 17.9 points, 12.4 rebounds and 6.7 assists. He is thus the best rebounder of the current campaign, just ahead of Rudy Gobert (12.3).
