The NBA finishes its distribution of trophies for the month with the coaches. And unsurprisingly, it is Kenny Atkinson who is designated to the East, after leading the Cavaliers (17 wins – 3 losses) to the top of the league.
Jordi Fernandez (Brooklyn), Joe Mazzulla (Boston), Jamahl Mosley (Orlando) and Tom Thibodeau (New York) were also named but they could not compete with the Cavs coach's historic start to the season.
In the West, it was Mark Daigneault, with Oklahoma City, who had the best record in the months of October and November, but we can hardly blame the NBA for choosing to highlight Ime Udokaof which the Rockets (14 wins – 6 losses) are just behind, but even more surprising.
Taylor Jenkins (Memphis), Tyronn Lue (LA Clippers) and JJ Redick (LA Lakers) were the other coaches named.
