Chuma Okeke out another month for the Magic

Hit in the left knee, Chuma Okeke hasn’t played since Nov. 21 and a game against Indiana. A month and 14 missed matches later, ESPN teaches us that he was operated.

The interior of the Magic passed on the pool table on Monday for a chondroplasty, an intervention which allows to heal the cartilage, and will therefore remain in the infirmary for at least another month.

This is obviously not the first time that he has been bothered by his left knee since we remember that he had been broke in the middle of “March Madness”, in 2019 with Auburn, by a rupture of the cruciate ligaments, thus missing his entire first year in the NBA.

This season, Chuma Okeke has played 18 games, including 7 as a starter, for an average of 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds.
