It was not a classic injury – a torn cruciate ligament or Achilles tendon – that ended the career of Chris Bosh. But the presence of a blood clot in his left calf. Thus, the interior has not played in the NBA since February 9, 2016. At the time, he was not yet 32 years old…
What if he had continued his career elsewhere? Far from the demanding and sustained pace of the NBA regular season? Present and in uniform for Goran Dragic's jubilee, the former Heat player said that contacts with Europe had existed.
“I had offers in Europe. But I wasn’t in a position to want to go there and move my family. I had newborns at the time. I took it as a sign and kept moving forward. But I did get a few offers.”, confirmed Chris Bosh.
The second question that naturally comes is: which teams? “It wasn't Greece. It was Spain. France. Euroleague teams.”says the 2008 Olympic champion.
It didn't happen and, as he said, Chris Bosh didn't “no regrets” regarding his career. I won two titles, met great people, had great teammates. I'm lucky,” he believes.
