THE Bulls clearly seem to have chosen to bet on the same group for next season: after Nikola Vucevic, it’s this time Coby White which extends to Chicago for three seasons and $40 million, according to ESPN.
Protected free agent, the former resident of North Carolina did not seek long to test the market since he agreed with his club from the first minutes after the opening of the “free agency”. Which suggests that the two sides had certainly already started working on an agreement.
A rather coherent agreement for both sides. The club retains a young talent who can still progress at a reasonable price (and therefore easily transferable in the future…), and the player, important on the Bulls bench for four seasons, therefore continues his career in his lifelong team, in this role of will-o’-the-wisp coming off the bench which suits him well.
In addition, the Bulls have announced the arrival of Jevon Carter, understudy of Jrue Holiday to the Bucks. Even if he wants to get rid of the defenseman label, he will be perfect to take over the role of Pat Beverley. He signed for $20 million over three years.
