Chet Holmgren’s Thunder dominated by Grizzlies

For his second outing of the summer, Chet Holmgren alternated between good and bad. In the defeat of the Thunder against the Grizzlies (94-86) on the side of Salt Lake City, the pivot of OKC signs a “double double” (10 points, 11 rebounds), but at 3/8 on shots, and with 6 lost balloons! In fact, Chet Holmgren was far too loose, especially wide, and the Grizzlies backs were quick to poke the ball in his hands.

But he also took revenge like on this double against David Roddy. First, he tarps him at 3-pointers, then the Grizzly recovers the ball and goes to the circle, but Chet Holmgren blocks him again! In the second half, he even went so far as to counter an attempted dunk from Jake LaRavia.

Ousmane Dieng recovers

At his side, Tre Mann confirms that he is in great shape with 28 points on 10 of 14 on shots. Ousmane Dieng recovered well after his completely failed first game. The Frenchman has 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.

On the Memphis side, the imposing Kenny Lofton Jr. wasted a lot (5 out of 16 on shots), and we especially saw Jake LaRavia, author of 25 points, including 16 in the first quarter. The former Wolves inside played the Thunder defense with his technique and his ability to punish from afar.
