Chet Holmgren celebrated by his former high school

Opponent number 1 of Victor Wembanyama for the title of Rookie of the Year, Chet Holmgren received a very special distinction this Friday on the occasion of the Thunder's trip to the Wolves floor this Saturday evening.

Originally from Minneapolis, the OKC interior was honored by his former high school in Minnehaha where a ceremony was held for the retirement of his jersey and number 34 this Friday. A strong moment for the former Gonzaga interior since all his OKC teammates were present. But also for his former high school, which accompanied him until his senior year, when he became the highest-rated high school student in the country with his 20.8 points and 12.6 rebounds on average.

“I would just like to thank everyone. I tried to go around to everyone, to greet everyone, but I probably won't be able to do it. So this is an opportunity to thank everyone who gave me the opportunity to become who I am and make all of this possible for me.”, did he declare.
