In front, Reed Sheppard clearly justified the hype around his profile, and he easily beat Bronny James' defense. He's a great shooter, but not only that. He defends, he plays without the ball, his dribbling is on point. On the pick-and-roll, he reads the defense well, and he acts according to the defender. He finished the game with 23 points on 9 of 16 shooting, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks!
By his side, Cam Whitmore clearly has no place in the summer league. Last year's MVP of the competition, the Rockets' wing guard compiled 20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
