The Warriors did not follow up on the attempt. Bruno Cabocloand the Brazilian has chosen to join Hapoel Tel Aviv. Presented by the club as “the last piece of the puzzle”, the former 20th choice of the 2014 Draft will join Patrick Beverley, but also Ish Wainright.
At 28 years old (only), Bruno Caboclo comes out of a rather convincing Olympic Games with 33 points against Japan, and especially 30 points against the United States in the quarter-finals. Last season, he had averaged 9.4 points and 4 rebounds in the Euroleague with Partizan Belgrade, and we also remember his time at CSP Limoges.
Before playing the Euroleague with Partizan, he won the title in Germany with Ulm, and finished in the best five of the Eurocup in 2023. A competition that he will therefore find with the Tel Aviv club.
“Bruno is a very versatile player who can comfortably play in positions 4 and 5, and what he brings on the pitch is exactly what we have been missing until now” reacted his new coach, George Hynas. “This signing is the final piece of the puzzle we have built, and we are pleased that Bruno is joining the Hapoel family.”
