Reinforcements arrive. As the playoffs draw closer, the defending champions are expected to reunite with Brook Lopez and George Hill, with Marc Spears announcing the Bucks’ optimism that they will return within the week.
The pivot only played the first game of the campaign, before being sidelined with back problems. Back in training recently, its ability to protect the circle is greatly missed in Milwaukee, which last year was the second best team to hinder shots in the key, with 61.3% of opposing success in this area. This season, the Bucks are only 18th, with 65.8% of opposing success.
Hit in the neck since January 28, George Hill could also be back in the coming week.
Two very good news for Mike Budenholzer, who will soon be able to count on his almost complete squad, even if Pat Connaughton is also in the infirmary, but also hoped to be back soon.
There is growing optimism that Bucks center Brook Lopez (back) and guard George Hill (neck) could return to action next week, sources tell @andscape_ @espn.
