Bronny James receives medical green light to play in NBA

Even though he played again in the NCAA after his cardiac arrest in July 2023, Bronny Jameswho could be drafted next month, still had to pass physical tests to find out whether the NBA would open its doors to him or not.

According to ESPN, LeBron's son was examined by three doctors and thus received the medical green light from the “NBA's Fitness to Play Panel”. Thanks to this positive result, he will be able to participate in the Draft Combine in Chicago.

If the invited players are not obliged to participate in five-on-five, the USC playmaker/back, according to our colleagues, will for his part play these matches, to show off, convince the recruiters and catch up a little on his complicated university season which weighed down his rating.

After his cardiac arrest and his operation, Bronny James started his season later, compiling only 4.8 points at 37% success including 27% from distance, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists on average in 19 minutes.

Moreover, if he decides not to try his luck in the Draft, he has already registered in the NCAA transfer portal for a second season, which will therefore not be at USC.
