This is the big game of the day: United States – Serbia. It's at 5:15 p.m. this Sunday in a Pierre-Mauroy stadium that will be boiling for the first of Team USA. Opponents in preparation, the two nations meet this time at the Olympic Games and Bogdan Bogdanovicabsent from the meeting in Abu Dhabi, believes in the feat when asked if LeBron James and his teammates can be beaten.
“I see where you're going with this, but I'm not going to say anything because I don't want to motivate them further.” smiled the Serbianwho lost two finals against the Americans, in 2014 at the World Cup and in 2016 at the Rio Olympics. “We clearly believe in it, but I don't want to give them extra motivation.”

Winner of one point over South Sudan and then four points over Germany, Team USA did not really master its subject during the preparation, even if we will remember that Steve Kerr's players had largely beaten Serbia (105-79). But Bogdanovic was not there, nor Nikola Jovic.
“I think this is one of the best teams in the history of the Olympic Games” he continues. “Everybody knows that, but nobody is going to go in without being competitive. Everyone is going to try to do their best against them, that’s obvious. Of course, these were just warm-up games, but they have a lot of veterans. They know how to push the button when it’s time to play. You could see that they didn’t want to lose when they were down by 15 or 16 points against South Sudan, or a little bit more against Germany. You can see that they just picked up the pace a little bit and played more as a team, and they won.”
