Boban Marjanovic is (again) back at the Rockets! This is what is announced ESPNwith a one-year contract.
Arriving in Houston from Dallas last season, the Serbian pivot had already been cut in February before being re-signed three days later for payroll reasons. This summer, the Rockets waived his rights… and are therefore in the process of getting him back again.
Like last season, his mission will be to play the role of third pivot behind Alperen Sengun and now Jock Landale. Once his contract is signed, he will then be the 14th player on the Rockets roster under contract for 2023-2024.
Even if he was little used last season, Boban Marjanovic knows how to be productive and efficient when called upon, and has the advantage of already knowing the house. He is also a model teammate, and the Rockets’ new ambitions should not displease him.
