Blazers sign Australian center

This is not the signing that will change the face of the Blazers, but Adrian Wojnarowski tells us that the Portland franchise offered a one-year contract to the pivot Duop Reath.

This 27-year-old interior (2m11) is not completely unknown in Oregon since he participated in the Summer League under the colors of the Blazers. In addition, during the World Cup, this former LSU played with Australia, taking advantage of the absence of Jock Landale to show off.

In five games, Duop Reath has averaged 8.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per 15 minutes in this competition. Last season, this native of South Sudan played in China with the Qingdao Eagles where he averaged 18.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2 blocks, after a season in the NBL.
