Thanks to a cannonball end to the match, the Wizards won 98-92 against the Hornets marked by the aftermath of the Miles Bridges affair. With an unchanged five to start the meeting, Bilal Coulibaly’s teammates have long been behind. The fault was a completely botched start to the match since Charlotte led 14-2 after just three minutes…
But the Wizards’ replacements will sign an 18-2 in four minutes in the 4th quarter, to pass the score from 84-74 in favor of the Hornets, to 92-86. Despite the efforts of rookie Nick Smith Jr., Charlotte was knocked out, and it was former Warrior Ryan Rollins who validated Washington’s victory (98-92).
A huge “scotch”!
In this meeting, Coulibaly played Coulibaly with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block in 28 minutes. No player spent more time on the field than him that night. Once again, it was in defense that he impressed, notably with a monstrous counterattack on a “poster dunk” attempt from Bryce McGowens.
For the rest, he plays without complexes, and for the moment, we don’t have the impression that he is really stressed by playing in the NBA. Very relaxed, he is himself, and he even took more risks in attack.
Opposite, another Frenchman, Frank Ntilikina. Majorly absent from the French team at the World Cup, Ntilikina also blackens the leaf with 5 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Only his 2 out of 11 on shots is a blemish, but it’s rare to see him so enterprising.
