Big audience for Game 1 between the Lakers and the Nuggets

Carried by a huge Nikola Jokic, author of a triple double XXL, Mike Malone’s men lead 1-0 against the band at LeBron James. A first round of very high level, and the Americans answered present in front of their small screen since the match attracted an average of 7.36 million viewers on ESPN and ESPN2. This represents a 13% increase in viewership compared to Game 1 between Warriors and Mavericks last season, which brought together 6.52 million people.

This is the highest audience in 5 years for a conference final opener. The opposition in 2018 between the Rockets of James Harden and Chris Paul and the Warriors of Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant then attracted an average of 8.90 million viewers.

Over the past twenty years, this Game 1 has been in the Top 10 of Game 1 conference finals.
