A terrible setback for the former UNC, who will not return until around mid-January, when he has been struggling since the start of the season to regain his impact from last season before his first injury. (5.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 15 minutes this season).
In his absence, Chauncey Billups will have to recalibrate the distribution of his minutes, particularly with regard to substitutes. Veteran Justise Winslow should be more mobilized, as should the rookie Shaedon Sharpe, who found colors.
