At least two more weeks out for Zion Williamson

You have to go back to January 2 to find the trace of a match of Zion Williamson on an NBA court. The New Orleans player has since been nursing a nasty hamstring injury in his right leg, as a relapse forced him to extend his recovery along the way.

Pelicans medical staff reassessed his case yesterday and the news is mixed. In this case, if the MRI showed that Zion Williamson’s hamstring continues to heal, he will still have to observe two weeks off before being examined again.

Still struggling to snatch its place in “play-in”, New Orleans (32 wins – 34 losses, 10th in the West) will therefore have to continue to compose without one of its major elements until further notice.
