At Golden State, we do not expect to see Andre Iguodala back in the workforce

At 39 years old, and at the end of an almost white season (8 games, for 2.4 assists, 2.1 points and 2.1 rebounds), everything suggests thatAndre Iguodala finished with his playing career, especially since he had announced that this 2022/23 campaign would be his last at the time of his extension.

Except that, almost a year later, the formalization of his retirement has still not fallen and it may therefore be that the quadruple NBA champion is tempted by a (new) last dance. To believe Mike Dunleavy Jr.this hypothesis is however unlikely.

We have already discussed it this summer and we will see. We’re not closing the door on him, but I don’t think he’ll be back. Even if you never know, it’s still Andre », declares the new GM of the Warriorsconcerning the one who mainly occupied a role “à la Udonis Haslem” last season.

The door is open and, if he really wanted to, Andre Iguodala could thus play his 20th season in the league within the franchise with which he had his best hours.

I have a feeling he’s probably got other things going on right now, but he’s got my number, my phone stays on “, adds Mike Dunleavy Jr, while Golden State still has a place to allocate in its workforce.
