Anthony Edwards joins the agency WME well

The rumor had been circulating for a few weeks and she was made official today : Anthony Edwards leaves the Klutch Sports agency to join the agency WME. A very nice catch for the latter, which continues its expansion in the world of basketball (Luka Doncic, Deandre Ayton, RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes or Chet Holmgren as other clients).

After OG Anunoby, it is therefore the full-back/winger of the wolves who slams the door of the agency founded by Rich Paul and, at WME, he will notably be able to develop his activities outside the parquet floors, with his production company Three Fifths Media and his charity in Atlanta or Minneapolis.

The jackpot this summer?

But this change is certainly not insignificant because Anthony Edwards becomes eligible, as of this summer, for a contract extension with Minnesotaprobably at most: 204 million dollars over five years, or even up to 240 million dollars over five years with different bonuses!

As a reminder, the soon to be 22-year-old player is coming out of a season with 24.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals on average, where he won his first All-Star Game selection, before flaming more in the playoffs (almost 32 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks on average…).
