Anthony Davis extends to the Lakers for the biggest salary in history!

It’s unclear if LeBron James will tie his future to Anthony Davis, but ESPN announces that the Lakers have decided to extend his contract for an additional three years. The All-Star insider signed a three-year, $186 million contract extension on an annual salary of $62 million. It’s simply the biggest salary in NBA history! Here he is linked to the Lakers until 2028, and he must receive 270 million dollars over the next five seasons!

Arrived in 2019 at the Lakers after a standoff with the leaders of the Pelicans, Davis participated in the conquest of the title in 2020. His first in his career, but the 4th for his friend LeBron James. The only player in history to have won an NCAA title, an NBA title, as well as an Olympic gold medal and a world championship title, Davis is one of the best interiors in the NBA when he is in full possession of his physical means.

Which, unfortunately, doesn’t happen that often since the former Kentucky player is a regular in the infirmary. This season again, he has missed 26 matches, and it is a habit for him. Since he arrived at the Lakers, he has never played more than 62 games per season.
