Anta Sports rolled out the red carpet at Kyrie Irving last summer by signing him for five years and appointing him creative director. The Kai 1, the player's first signature shoe with the Chinese brand, quickly followed and was a big success.
While the All-Star leader has just qualified for the Finals with 36 points scored in Game 5, where he will meet the Celtics, it is now the turn of a new model to be presented: the Kai Tribe.
The duo this time opted for a fairly classic “lifestyle” model, with a few nods to Kyrie Irving, such as its logo appearing on the heel, its number 11, or the signs of the Sioux tribe called “Standing Rock”, in homage to his Indian roots from his mother, on a metal rod on the upper, with his number 11.
Two colors have been revealed, the first in black and white and the second in white, pearly white and purple. The Kai Tribe is expected to be released next fall. Its price is not yet known.
