Another season without a “dress code” for coaches

New in 2020 in the “bubble”, the absence of a “dress code” for coaches is gradually becoming a habit. Because Mark Stein tells us that the league will still allow coaches to wear light clothing during the next exercise, and no longer the traditional costume, compulsory before the interruption of the 2019/2020 season.

As in the last two seasons, we should therefore see more coaches in sweaters, t-shirts or polos. An imperative nevertheless: that the garment bears the logo of the franchise.

After the “bubble” and three straight seasons of freedom, will coaches return to three-piece suits in the future? Our colleague specifies that the NBA policy will be reviewed again after the 2022/2023 season.

A change of “dress code” is therefore not to be ruled out, but it is not impossible either that the technicians have acquired a taste for polo shirts too much to backtrack…
