Another injury for the start of the season in Memphis…

Last season was a long journey for Memphis, as injuries (in addition to the suspension of Ja Morant) constantly weighed down the group. And while the 2024/25 season has not yet started, the Grizzlies are already starting again on the same (and sad) bases…

As a reminder, at the end of August, we learned that GG Jackson had injured his right foot. A few days later, the winger underwent surgery and will return, at best, at the beginning of December. A few weeks later, the Tennessee franchise now communicates on Vince Williams Jr.'s injury

The rear is in fact affected in the left tibia and will be examined again in about four weeks. There is therefore a good chance that the Memphis player will miss at least his team's first match, scheduled for October 23 at Utah.

Last season, Vince Williams Jr. played 52 games (starting 33 times) and averaged 10 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 27 minutes. He was also invited to the Rising Stars Challenge in February.
