Anfernee Simons remains in the infirmary

From light to darkness… After lighting up the Blazers’ not always easy exercise, Anfernee Simons had to make a pit stop to treat a knee injury suffered a week ago when he had just made a new card, 38 points, on the floor of Minnesota.

Passed from the status of “role player” to major player over the course of the season, the back thus assists from the sidelines the tumble of his team which remains on six consecutive losses with an average difference of 32 points! And his return to the track is not for now since his MRI taken on Friday confirmed the nature of his injury, tendinitis of the left knee. The duration of his unavailability was estimated at one to two weeks.

When he is allowed to return to the courts, it is undoubtedly the classification of the Blazers and the prospect of playing the play-ins or not which should encourage the staff to put him back on the field, or not. For the moment, it does not take the way, even if New Orleans, currently 10th, is also experiencing great difficulties.
