Andrew Nembhard signs three-year extension with the Pacers

He is about to take part in his first Olympic Games and, before things get serious for Canada, Andrew Nembhard has secured his future in the NBA.

So, ESPN reports that he is extending his contract for three years and $59 million with the Pacers. This is simply the maximum he could claim this summer and this new contract will take effect from 2025/26.

A re-signing expected for several weeks for the 24-year-old player, who has established himself as a key element of Rick Carlisle's squad in the space of two years (9.3 points, 4.3 assists and 2.4 rebounds, at 47% shooting and 35% at 3-pointers). He especially exploded in the playoffs, where he averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds (at 56% shooting, including 48% at 3-pointers!) until the conference final.

Selected in 31st position in the 2022 Draft, Andrew Nembhard therefore imitates Pascal Siakam and Obi Toppin, who also re-enlisted in theIndiana during the summer. Proof that the local leaders have implemented what they planned to do, that is to say, to start again with (almost) the same group next season.
