In his last season in the NBA, Andre Iguodala was finally able to play only 8 games, the fault of various physical problems. In March, the 39-year-old winger had only regained Steve Kerr’s rotation for five games, before fracturing his wrist and having to go on the operating table…
Suffice to say that we thought of him in retirement, but Golden State nevertheless assures that he intensifies his training.
According to the franchise, the MVP of the 2015 Finals should thus participate in Golden State training during the week, a sign that he could return to the field at the end of the series against the Lakers. Then in the conference final if his team manages to pass the “Purple & Gold” obstacle.
Of course, it’s bound to be in a very small role, but Andre Iguodala can still contribute a few good minutes in defense on LeBron James, as well as his experience in handling the ball.
