The struggles continue for James Bouknightbetween his difficulties adapting to the NBA game and his extra-sporting slip-ups which have confined him to a minor role in Charlotte, since his arrival in North Carolina in 2021.
Things are not going to get better in the short term since the Hornets have announced that their back will have to undergo a surgical intervention to treat the meniscus in his left knee, which has prevented him from being operational since the start of the pre-season.
His injury occurred on October 5, at the start of Steve Clifford’s training camp, during an exercise. His absence is estimated at least four weeks. His state of health will then be re-evaluated by the Charlotte staff, who will then adjust their prognosis regarding his return to play.
