A very serious candidate for the title of best coach of the year, Erik Spoelstra won, on the wire, his selection to the All-Star Game to coach Team Durant.
He took advantage of the Bulls’ loss at home to the Sixers to put the Heat back in first place in the Eastern Conference with 34 wins and 20 losses. In his 14th season on the Miami bench, he had only coached at the All-Star Game once in his career. It was in 2013 on the Eastern Conference bench.
On the other bench, we will find Monty Williams to coach Team LeBron, and this will be a first for the Suns coach. It is Thursday evening that we will know the composition of the Durant and LeBron teams with a Draft system.
