It's on X/Twitter that the @EldenMonitors account leaked the new “City Edition” jerseys, the third jerseys of the franchises developed by Nike to highlight the history of cities in the NBA.
As we do not yet have the explanation and the references used by the different clubs, it is quite complicated to give an opinion, even if many of these jerseys resemble those of previous years.
We still note the Raptors logo, a nod to Vince Carter's famous “Slam Dunk Contest” in 2000, the return of the snowy mountains of Utah or the reference to the Rochester Royals from the Kings. On the other hand, we are waiting for the explanations about this strange Celtics jersey…
Like last year, these “City Edition” jerseys should be used during the NBA Cup.
