Alexandre Sarr moves away from 1st place in the Draft and the Hawks

While he previously lived in Atlanta and could see himself playing for the Hawks, Alexandre Sarr should not be the first choice in the next Draft. According to ESPN, which updates its “Mock Draft”, the French interior has still not tested for Atlanta. As has been rumored for several weeks, the Hawks would opt instead for Zaccharie Risacher as their first choice, and they fell for Donovan Clingan, the pivot from UConn. His coach, Don Hurley, announced it last week.

If he is chosen first, ESPN wonders if Zaccharie Risacher will be traded (to the Spurs?) or if he will be kept. In any case, the Sarr track is moving away, although ESPN clarifies that the door is not completely closed.

Which at the same time would send Olivier's little brother to the Wizards where there is a great need for an interior since the departure of Daniel Gafford.

Moreover, Alexandre Sarr did a “workout” with the Wizards, and ESPN reports that the leaders followed him regularly in Australia. The leaders of Washington will be dependent on the choice of the Hawks, and roughly speaking, they will take the Frenchman still available, whether it is Risacher or therefore probably Sarr.

Four French people in the first round?

For the rest, we note that the rating of Tidjane Salaün is down since it now appears in 12th place, on the Thunder side. Sam Presti likes him a lot, and the Cholet winger did a test in OKC. Conversely, the rating of Pacôme Dadiet climbs since he appears for the first time in the first round, in 30th place, on the Celtics side. This would be a great opportunity for the Ulm winger.

In the second round, Melvin Ajinca also gains a few places since he appears in 40th place, near Portland where he did a “workout”. As for Bronny James, things aren't changing, since ESPN is still predicting a 55th place, for the Lakers.

So you don't miss anything about the 2024 Draft
