There will still be three Antetokounmpo brothers in Wisconsin next season. Giannis of course, but also Thanasis, who has extended his lease with the Bucks for next season.
Michael Scotto, of Hoopshype, also confirms that Alex, the youngest of the siblings, has also signed a contract with the Bucks for next season. Except that for him, it is not a guaranteed lease but simply an invitation for the “training camp”, before probably joining the affiliated team in the G-League.
It is already there that he evolved last season, at the Wisconsin Herdwhere he averaged 5.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists, 37% shooting success, over 39 games.
Note that Drew Timme has also signed a contract of the same type, and that he should therefore evolve in the G-League.
The Milwaukee Bucks signed Alex Antetokounmpo, league sources confirmed to @hoopshype. He joins brothers Thanasis and Giannis Antetokounmpo on the roster heading into training camp. He played for the G League’s Wisconsin Heritage last season.
