Like Guershon Yabusele, Aleksa Avramovic is one of the revelations of the Paris Olympics, and the Serbian is reportedly on the radar of two franchises. According to Ozon Pressa Serbian daily, the recent bronze medal would thus interest the Hawks and the Clippers. Voted Best Defender of the Olympic tournament, Avramovic compiled 10.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 interceptions on average at the Olympics.
At 29, Nikola Jokic and Bogdan Bogdanovic's teammate came to prominence late in life and was never drafted. Contractually, he belongs to CSKA Moscow, whose training camp begins on August 26. Like Yabusele, he has an exit clause to join the NBA, but it is only valid until Tuesday.
Two major obstacles
Furthermore, the Clippers and Hawks already have 15 players under contract for next season, and both franchises would therefore be obliged to part with a player in order to sign him.
Clearly, the obstacles are multiple, and at 29 years old, it is not at all certain that Avramovic will land in the NBA. The same goes for Yabusele, whose name is said to be circulating on the Cavaliers side, without anything really concrete for the moment.
