After extension, the Heat creates the feat: the Bucks take the door!

Under the pressure of elimination, the Bucks started the game well, and quickly took the lead (14-9). The Heat is getting underway little by little, and will even take the lead on a 3-point basket signed Gabe Vincent (19-18). Jimmy Butler takes over scoring, and allows Miami to take the lead after the first quarter (36-33).

Erik Spoelstra’s men keep up the pace, and keep the lead (46-38). With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton on the bench, the Bucks will finally wake up with a 16-4 run to get back in front (54-50). On a 3-point basket, Wesley Matthews even offers nine points ahead of his team (65-56). At the break, Milwaukee leads 69-63.

Milwaukee was 16 points ahead…

It was Miami who came back better from the locker room, and on a 3-point shot, Jimmy Butler allowed his team to come back tied (73-73). As the two teams exchange baskets, the momentum shifts to the side of the Bucks. On an outside shot concluded with the fault, Grayson Allen allows the locals to take an eight-point lead (89-81). Under the impetus of Khris Middleton, the steamroller Bucks starts up, facing a team from the Heat without responding. Mike Budenholzer’s proteges lead by sixteen points at the start of the last quarter (102-86).

Miami begins the 4th quarter with an 8-0, and returns to the rearview mirror of Milwaukee (102-94). The gap stabilizes between seven and ten points in favor of the Bucks (108-99). Jimmy Butler brings the Heat back to five lengths with 4 minutes remaining (108-103). On a basket concluded with the fault, Jimmy Butler, again him, allows his people to pick up at 3-points (111-108). Jimmy Butler once again caught fire, and equalized at 3-pointers 2 minutes from the end (111-111). Khris Middleton restores the advantage to the Bucks on two free throws. But at the end of an incredible end to the match, Jimmy Butler snatches the extension on an unbalanced basket (118-118).

The bankruptcy of Budenholzer

On a sublime move on Jrue Holiday, Jimmy Butler gives Miami a three-point lead (122-119). 2 minutes from the end, the Heat have a five-point lead (124-119). 1 minute from the end, the Bucks are only two points behind (126-124). Mike Budenholzer decides not to take a time-out on the last possession. Result ? Milwaukee scrambles, and doesn’t even take a shot at the buzzer. Miami wins 128-126, and creates the feat by leaving the Bucks.

WHAT YOU MUST REMEMBER

– Milwaukee cracks again. After going 24-8 to conclude the third quarter, the Bucks probably thought they were safe. But, again, they crumbled in the final quarter, leaving Jimmy Butler to gain confidence. The Heat finally came back to score, even snatching the extension. And what had to happen happened, as in the last game, Milwaukee fell apart, this time in overtime. A premature end to the season for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s teammates which will make a lot of noise.

– A Rare Achievement So this one, no one saw it coming. The Heat won 4-1, and out the Bucks in the first round. Dominated by the Bucks for a good part of the match, the Heat once again completely overturned the match in the 4th quarter, and managed to snatch the extension, carried by a once again stratospheric Jimmy Butler. The extension will turn to the advantage of Erik Spoelstra’s men, in what is undoubtedly one of the biggest upsets in history. This is the 6th time in history that an 8 seed has taken out a 1 seed. Now the Heat have a date with the Knicks.

TOPS/FLOPS

✅ Jimmy Butler. Once again exceptional, we are at a loss for adjectives to describe its performance. He finished with 42 points at 17/33 shooting!!!

✅ Giannis Antetokounmpo. As a boss, he responded with 38 points and 20 rebounds, but that wasn’t enough…

✅ Brook Lopez. On the heels of his last match, he was once again invaluable on both sides of the field. He finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

⛔️ The Bucks collapse. For a group that has known each other for several years, it’s simply incomprehensible.
