After a stint in Cleveland, Bronny James will go to the G-League

Now that he has made history by playing a match alongside his father LeBron, we expected that Bronny James move quickly to the G-League to develop more calmly and ESPN rightly announces that this will soon be the case.

More precisely, it is directly after the five-game road trip of the Lakers (October 28 – November 6), in which he will therefore take part, that the 20-year-old player will experience his first move to the lower level, joining the South Bay Lakers. Note that this “road trip” includes a meeting in Cleveland, on October 30, and that it is undoubtedly no coincidence that the Lakers are taking him on this trip, for this first time, at home.

It was always planned from the start that Bronny would alternate between the NBA and the G-League » recalls JJ Redick, his trainer. “ Rob Pelinka and I talked about it, LeBron too. »

No surprise then, when Bronny James had also declared that he was ready to play in the G-League under the orders of Zach Guthrie, in July: “ I look forward to playing basketball no matter what level I play. »
