Affected by health problems, Larry Brown takes a step back

Since the summer of 2021, Larry Brown has been Penny Hardaway’s assistant in Memphis in the NCAA. However, in October, he had taken a step back, and this is still the case at the end of the year.

The Tigers coach confirmed that Larry Brown had to deal with health problems, which do not seem to be considered serious but which will still keep him away from the courts for a while.

“We wish a speedy recovery to Coach Brown”, Says Penny Hardaway. “Having him with us for a year and a half has been invaluable for our athletes and for me. We hope the best for him. »

A true coaching legend, Hall of Famer since 2002, Larry Brown (82) remains the only coach in history to have won the NCAA title, in 1988 with Kansas, and the NBA title, with the Pistons in 2004.
