Adrian Griffin will look for a former colleague to support him on the Bucks bench

Just a few days before the start of the regular season, Terry Stotts left the Bucks due to tensions with Adrian Griffin. The former Blazers coach had not been replaced since. This is now the case with the arrival of Trevor Gleeson.

This 55-year-old coach is not the best known but his name appeared in 2021, when he left Australia for the NBA. After fifteen seasons and five league titles, as well as two “Coach Of The Year” trophies and an NBL cup, he joined Toronto.

He came to assist Nick Nurse and thus teamed up with Adrian Griffin, also an assistant on the Raptors bench. The two men have already worked together and know each other well.

“We were a little short, with one of the staffs where there are the fewest assistant coaches, so we thought it would be beneficial to recruit someone,” commented the Bucks coach for ESPN. “I worked with Trevor in Toronto and I have a lot of respect for him. »

Specialist of the “Flex Offense” during his Australian years, an attack on simple principles but applicable at high levelTrevor Gleeson then moved to the Raptors, taking care of the defensive aspect.
