Almost a week after the opening of the market, it is an understatement to say that management has followed its course perfectly: after Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks, Jock Landale and Jeff Green, ESPN announce that it is Aaron Holiday who joins Houston to mentor the Jalen Green, Amen Thompson, Alperen Sengun, Cam Whitmore and Jabari Smith Jr.
A recruitment (of one year) on the position of expected leader, since The Athletic reported this Wednesday that the Texas franchise was still looking to sign an experienced exterior. It is therefore done with the youngest of the Holiday siblings, hired as third leader behind “FVV” and the rookie Amen Thompson.
The overhaul of the Rockets’ leadership is now complete, and the “experience and maturity” gauge continues to fill up in the group’s locker room, remodeled and finally ambitious after two flat seasons.
