James Harden has carried the Clippers on his shoulders since the start of the season, between the departures of Russell Westbrook And Paul George and the package of Kawhi Leonard. The Californian guard has already produced some great individual performances, including a triple-double of 25 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists in the defeat against Phoenix (119-125).
Adidas has chosen to highlight the 35-year-old guard's return to favor with the release of a new colorway of the Harden Vol. 8. Called “Feather Grey”, it consists of a gray upper complemented by touches of black on the upper part, and side reinforcements matching the white sole. The brand's three stripes stand out at the heel.
The Harden Vol. 8 “Feather Grey” is available on Basket4ballers since the start of the month at a price of 160 euros.
Our Verdict of the Harden Vol. 8
Adidas started from scratch last year by releasing a redesigned James Harden Vol.7, with a more futuristic, even minimalist upper. The brand with the three stripes seems to have the right formula since it has generally reproduced the same pattern on this Harden Vol.8, with a reworked upper, and a sole that is still as efficient, and few unnecessary details or ornaments.
Beyond its design which stands out on the current market, the pair still offers just as many guarantees in terms of cushioning, support and grip. In this sense, the Harden Vol. 8 will be credited for its simplicity, far from the ornaments present on all other models of the genre, but also its effectiveness, the pair remaining one of the most complete on the market. In any case, we predict a great breakthrough for this model on the market, even if James Harden is no longer as “bankable” as in his heyday.
