“Everything It Takes” is the name of the docu-series that Luka Doncic has announced to produce and broadcast during the 2023 World Cup, which he will play with Slovenia.
“I am proud to share the story of my national team, especially my teammates, and to highlight Slovenian basketball and what it means to me”explained the Dallas player at Variety. “It’s about more than what we do on the pitch. It’s about brotherhood, the heart of our team, the passion of our fans and the love for our country. »
The series could therefore look like what Tommy Hombert has been doing for a few years with the Blues.
This year again, the director follows the French team by offering fans to dive into the heart of the life of Vincent Collet’s group thanks to a series of videos, titled for the occasion “Gold diggers”.
For Luka Doncic, Andy Madeleine will be in charge of filming and editing the images, in what is the first project of the Slovenian basketball player’s new production company, named 77X. A project focused on short formats since the docu-series primarily targets TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels.
“The Federation was there from the start, so that we could show what it means for our national team players to represent Slovenia on the world stage”explained Matej Erjavec, president of the Slovenian Federation. “We are proud of our players’ performances on the court, but we are even more proud to share their dedication to basketball and to Slovenia with the world. We hope that this collaboration with 77X will make the tradition and passion of basketball in Slovenia better known. »
