A return to the NBA for Guerschon Yabusele?

Will Guerschon Yabusele soon try his luck in the NBA again? While playing this weekend at Pier 54, the “Dancing Bear” is said to be on the shelves of several Great League franchises, according to BeBasket.

Nothing surprising in the end because the 27-year-old strong winger is no longer the same player as the one who vegetated on the Celtics bench between 2017 and 2019. In 74 games in the Boston jersey, Guerschon Yabusele had thus compiled only 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds on average, in just 7 minutes of playing time per game.

But after a stint in China, he had completely revived at Asvel, before joining Real Madrid, where he has been playing for two seasons, asserting himself as a major player in Europe.

Same thing with the Blues, with whom he has become increasingly important, at the Tokyo Olympics (silver medal) and especially at Euro 2022 (silver medal), where he undoubtedly was the best Frenchman in the tournament, averaging 14.8 points and 3.8 rebounds across the competition.

This year, he notably averaged 9.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 28 Euroleague games, with 51% success including 42% at 3-points, even if he especially marked the spirits by his MMA take on Dante Exum…

Note, however, that Guerschon Yabusele is under contract with the “white house” until 2025.
