More than a year after its release, Ja Morant's first signature shoe continues to supply the market with new colors, like this Ja 1 “Vacation”, which is notably inspired by the historic colors of the Grizzlies, when the franchise was evolving in Vancouver.
We find a pearly white upper with a white “Swoosh”. The heel appears in brown with also a small touch of red also inspired by the initial Grizzlies jerseys. But it is at the level of the turquoise blue midsole that the “retro” nod is most striking.

The promotional campaign for the Ja 1 will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the worst experienced by Nike. However, despite the player's adventures until finally this shoulder injury which led to another premature end to the season, the Grizzlies leader's first signature shoe has clearly found its audience, all ages combined.
A phenomenon which can be explained by the enthusiasm around the player Ja Morant, among the biggest rising stars in the league, a simple design but with touches of originality that hit the mark, and of course guarantees on the technical level, the pair being satisfactory on this point despite its classic side, particularly at the level of the sole. We can also highlight the diversity of colors which made it possible to delight as many people as possible.
Support is undoubtedly its strong point, with its walls at the back of the foot to complete the device and “tighten” the heel, and also to reassure larger profiles. On arrival, the Ja 1 still managed to mark its territory and survive this laborious publicity.
