It will almost be four years since Nike launched the “Nike GT” series with a trio of shoes specially designed for basketball and designed to suit all types of profiles. The Nike GT Cut has so far been the most popular with the general public, and it is therefore this Nike GT Cut 3 which will be in the spotlight from January 1, 2025 with a new “Punch” colorway.
Nike offers a colorful model to start the year off right with an upper between pink and orange flanked by a black “swoosh”. The black sole at the front gradually tends towards pink. The “GT 03” and “Nike” inscriptions on the tongue and heel also stand out in black.

The Nike GT Cut 3 has managed to preserve this heritage by remaining on its qualities, in terms of dynamism and reactivity while managing to positively innovate with this “Zoom X” foam which has the most beautiful effect.
However, the compromise between the lightness of the materials and their low durability, particularly at the collar level, needs to be reviewed. The cut of the tongue will also be left to everyone's discretion. For the rest, the model is a success, offering optimal results in terms of comfort, dynamic rebound, quality and safety of support as well as support.
The Nike GT Cut 3 thus preserves its rating among the best shoes on the market for rather dynamic outdoor player profiles. The pair is worth its price (200 euros) even if it will have to be taken with great care to preserve it over time.
