Presented by Paolo Banchero, the first choice of the last Draft and new face of the Orlando franchise, the new “Statement” jersey of the Magic made in sobriety: blue, the primary color of the club, and the usual “pinstripes” , those black vertical stripes.
A duo of colors that brings up to date the visual identity of the Magic of the 90s and the beginning of the 2000s, especially during the Shaq / Penny era, with the famous black borders on the edges of the jersey.
We also note the addition of a thin vertical strip, with stars that stand out against a black background, on both sides of the jersey and the shorts. It’s a tribute to the “star” jerseys of the Tracy McGrady era. The edges of the jersey are in the same tone, with a very dark green.
This set will be worn ten times this season by the Magic, and in particular from October 22, the date of the first home game for the team coached by Jamahl Mosley, against the Celtics.
