The LeBron 22 continues to innovate! How could it be otherwise, when Nike has had to reinvent itself for twenty years to highlight the 22nd signature shoe of LeBron James ? After inaugurating the LeBron 21 on the theme of seabed pearls, the LeBron 22 makes its debut on a completely different theme, around the board game “Monopoly” democratized around the world by the company “Hasbro”.
A first “Currency Monopoly” colorway had already illuminated the resumption of the NBA with its multi-colored upper, displaying the game’s different banknotes, here is a new version of the collaboration between Nike and Hasbro with a “Token” colorway. We find a dark blue upper, and for connoisseurs, it is the same color as the most expensive “real estate” in the game (Rue de la Paix and Avenue des Champs-Elysées in France).
Laser-engraved patterns complete the set, on which we also find gold finishes, to highlight the “Swoosh” or the player's signature at the heel. The “Monopoly” label also appears on the vamp, tongue and insole.
