Among the first equipment manufacturers to have succeeded in making their place alongside the segment's giants, Peak continues on its merry way. Over the years, the Chinese brand has built a solid reputation by delivering some very good models, such as the Lou Williams 3 in 2021. The “Flash Peak” range has also proven itself, and it is now the turn of the Flash Peak 5, released last May, to take the spotlight.
True to the DNA of the collection, the focus has once again been on the composition of the sole to accompany a synthetic upper with good ventilation. The midsole is a concentrate of comfort and dynamism with “P-Ultralight” foam, “P-Soon” foam for responsiveness at the front and Taichi foam at the back for comfort. The whole is matched with a TPU support in the center of the midsole for stability.
Two initial colorways were released when it was released. Here's a third, dubbed “Cherry Blossom,” which covers the upper in several shades of pink. Pale green finishes highlight the Peak logos, pull tab, and TPU stripe on the outside of the midsole, which also features the “Cherry Blossom” lettering in pink.
The Peak Flash 5 “Cherry Blossom” is available on Basket4Ballers at a price of 130 euros.
