LeBron James is going to have its own museum. The idea seems rather crazy but is nevertheless part of a very real observation, drawn up by Michele Campbell, executive director of the “LeBron James Family Foundation”, since the opening of the first school founded by LeBron James, the “I Promise School,” based in Akron.
“Since opening, there has been a steady stream of visitors from near and far just to take pictures of the iconic sign that sits in front of the school, and to ask to be taken on a tour to see a shoe collection, among other things. LeBron James’ iconic Nikes.
So that the more and more curious can continue their visit of the “LeBron Tour” in the King’s hometown, his foundation has therefore acquired the basements of a new commercial complex with bars, restaurants and various stores. This is the old “Tangier” complex which will be brought up to date and renamed “House Three Thirty”, the inauguration of which is announced for next year.

Although still under development, we already know that the museum will be divided into several spaces that will trace the journey of LeBron James, from his first steps in the Springhill apartments of Akron until his rise in the NBA. , the Cavs, the Heat and the Lakers through his adolescence and his first titles acquired at St. Vincent-St. Mary.
A space will also be dedicated to his extra-basketball activities, such as his investments in television programs or his grand premiere as the main actor in the film “Space Jam: New Era”, while the last corridor will pay tribute to his commitment to community and youth of Akron.
“When the school first opened, we never thought there would be so many people coming just to take a picture of the school logo. This museum will be fun for everyone”, concluded Michele Campbell.
Various exhibitions will punctuate the news of the museum, such as perhaps his champion rings or his various personal trophies. Upper Deck Sports will be the main sponsor. No official opening date or entry price has yet been specified.
