$315 million: Jayson Tatum lands the biggest contract in history!

A year ago, Jaylen Brown signed the biggest contract in NBA history, with $304 million over five years with the Celtics. But the MVP of the last Finals did not stay at the top for too long…

He is now his teammate. Jayson Tatum who offered himself the biggest contract in the history of the league.

Insiders Chris Haynes and Shams Charania confirm that the winger will sign a new five-year, $315 million contract. At $63 million per season, it's the new biggest contract in history.

The record shouldn't last too long, as Luka Doncic will probably erase it in the summer of 2025…

For Boston, the investment for Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum is therefore substantial, while Jrue Holiday and Derrick White have also been extended. An investment that is nevertheless fully validated by the club's 18th title… and which should not in any case cool down the buyers.
