2K Foundations is committed to the renovation of the grounds in Paris

It’s not just George Eddy who cares about the quality and accessibility of playgrounds in France! Behind this fight, there is of course the desire to promote and democratize the practice of basketball in France as much as possible, but also to allow basketball players to play on courts in complete safety. When we look again at the state of certain fields, we can say that the margin of progress on this point is exponential.

The company of 2K Foundations, behind the world video game publisher “2k”, will represent an ally of choice in this process since the foundation has just renovated the TEP Chaumont basketball courts, located at Porte de Chaumont, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. It is a 5-on-5 and 3-on-3 court that has been redecorated by French artist Aurélia Durand. The least we can say is that the result is… colorful!

“I work around the notion of diversity by staging characters with vibrant and joyful colors”she said on the sidelines of the inauguration of the grounds magnified by her care. “What inspires me is the community, living it together. It is this energy that I try to transmit through my compositions. For me, the group allows each individual to find their place and fulfill themselves”.

Already at the origin of land at the Sojourner Truth Academy in Minneapolis (Minnesota) with Karl-Anthony Towns, 2K Foundations has affirmed its desire to pursue this type of initiative in the future. Who’s next ?
